Mountain Friends

Went out for an early morning drive a few weeks ago looking for some moose. We found this pair enjoying there morning feast. There was also a bull close by, he didn't want to be in the picture, but the little ground squirrel did. Loved watching the moose as the sun lit up the morning sky.

Red-tailed Baby Hawks at 2 1/2 weeks old...

3 Baby Hawks about 2/1/2 weeks old

Red-tailed Hawk update...

I've paid a few visits to the hawk nest this week.

It looks like there are 3 babies instead of only 2. You can see 2 little heads in this picture and there is also one hiding behind mom. It's very enjoyable and amazing to watch these little birds as they grow.

Hopefully next time we'll have a better view of all 3 babies. Stay tuned....
